About us...

Troop 74 of Hummelstown, PA is chartered to the American Legion Post 265 with close ties to Trinity United Methodist Church. Established in 1947, we are located in the Keystone Capital District of the New Birth of Freedom Council.

Chris Gliot is our scoutmaster and works alongside numerous Assistant Scoutmasters.

This is a very active troop.  We like to spend time outdoors, with activities including camping, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, attending summer camp, National Jamboree, Philmount, and Sea Base.  We have one of the highest success rates for boys who enter to become Eagle's in the six county Scout Council.   We enjoy our cabin with 13 acres of land, where all the meeting takes place.  Please come and pay us a visit any Monday night at 7:00p.m.  Cub scouts are more than welcome to see what we are about.

When and Where We Meet...

Weekly meetings are held on Monday nights at our cabin in Hummelstown. We are one of the few troops with our own land complete with cabin, campsite, fire pit, and open field that borders Beaver Creek.
